Description

Egg-shaped hanging birdhouse.

Celebrate wildlife in your garden with our "The Egg" birdhouse. With its perfect ovoid shape, this model is inspired by nature's most beautiful symbol to offer a true protective cocoon for birds. Its magnificent spiraled striated texture catches the light and adds a contemporary and graphic touch to your trees. Highly respectful of biodiversity, it is easily attached without harming the bark thanks to its strap attachment system.

Fall for this original and artisanal titmouse birdhouse in a designer egg shape with a wavy, modern effect.

You have the option of hanging it or fixing it to a wall or tree with the optional mounting kit (bracket + 3 screws + 2 straps). This birdhouse provides an ideal habitat for a young pair of birds wanting to start a family.

Each birdhouse is handcrafted by me on the day of the order. It is then shipped very quickly, with care, to arrive at your home in perfect condition and ready to shelter the birds in your garden!

Information

Material:
All my creations are designed and manufactured by me using PETG, a durable material – more modern than wood!

Durable: resistant to sun, rain, and frost without deteriorating.
Hygienic: easy to clean, no mold or pests.
Design: lightweight, strong, and aesthetic, with a modern style.

I chose to make my creations from PETG because, unlike PLA (used by some sellers), PETG perfectly withstands climatic conditions such as humidity, heat, UV, and frost…

The electricity for manufacturing is supplied by solar panels during the day and by decarbonized energy for the rest of the time!

Have a question?

What is "The Egg" birdhouse for?

It provides wild birds with a stable and clean shelter for nesting, creating a true family cocoon that is very easy to install on a tree trunk in your garden.

How is it attached?

You have two installation options:

Hanging: use the sturdy eyelet on top to easily hang it from a branch or hook.

Against a tree trunk: securely attach it around a tree with 2 fastening straps (included in the kit), offering perfect stability and 100% bark-friendly.

What birds does it attract?

It is particularly appreciated by blue tits, marsh tits, crested tits or coal tits, great tits, house sparrows, Eurasian nuthatches, white-fronted redstarts...

Where should the birdhouse be installed for best results?

Fix it between 2 and 5 meters high, facing East or Southeast (sheltered from wind and heavy rain). Choose a quiet spot, clear the access in front of the entrance, and tilt it slightly downwards when installing to prevent rain from entering. Finally, place it at a good distance from your feeders to ensure the nest's tranquility.

When should I use it?

Ideally in the autumn or early winter. This allows the birds to spot the nesting box in advance and shelter there from the cold during the bad season. At the latest, install it in February before the start of the spring nesting season.
