Water feeder for bees and other insects, for standard 1L glass juice bottles.

Make life easier for bees by offering them a watering point to quench their thirst with the summer heat and the current severe water shortage. The feeder screws directly onto a glass bottle.

Advantages
- Screw system: attaches securely to a T048 bottle
- Large base: its large footprint provides good stability
- Suitable for bees: channels adapted to the size of bees allow them to land and drink without getting wet or drowning
- Reusable and durable

- Ideal for: Bees, butterflies, bumblebees

Dimensions: 16 x 19 x 1.4 cm

It transforms a simple bottle into a low-tech, practical water feeder perfect for bees and other insects who want to refresh themselves with water.

Information

Material:
All my creations are designed and manufactured by me using PETG, a durable material – more modern than wood!

Durable: resists sun, rain, and frost without damage.
Hygienic: easy to clean, no mold or parasites.
Design: lightweight, strong, and aesthetic, with a modern style.

I chose to make my creations from PETG because, unlike PLA (which some sellers use), PETG perfectly withstands climatic conditions such as humidity, heat, UV rays, and frost...

Ultra-resistant outdoors: Fears neither frost, rain, nor summer sun (unlike PLA, which deforms in heat).

Healthy & hygienic for wildlife: Smooth and non-porous surface, ultra-easy to wipe clean to prevent disease transmission.

Professional durability: A technical and unbreakable material designed to stay outdoors all year round, season after season.

Zero maintenance: No need for varnish, stain, or chemical treatments toxic to birds.

The electricity for manufacturing is supplied by solar panels during the day and by decarbonized energy for the rest of the time!

Have a question?

What is the purpose of the "The Glass Alveo" bee drinker?

The Glass Alveo provides a vital and safe watering point for bees and other pollinators in your garden.

During heatwaves and periods of high temperatures, water becomes a rare and essential resource: bees must constantly bring it back to hydrate themselves and cool their hive. Thanks to its textured honeycomb design, the Alveo allows them to land and drink safely, without any risk of drowning.

How is it attached?

The Alveo attaches very simply by screwing: you just need to turn a standard glass bottle upside down and screw it directly onto the central neck provided in the heart of the platform. Then place the assembly level on a flat and stable surface (low wall, garden table, terrace edge) near your flowers.

What animals does it attract?

Although primarily designed for bees (both domestic and solitary), The Glass Alveo attracts a wide variety of pollinators and insects useful to your garden who are looking for a safe water source, including:

Bumblebees: Hard workers who also need to hydrate, especially in hot weather.

Butterflies: They can easily land on the honeycomb structure to drink safely.

Other small beneficial insects: Such as ladybugs or hoverflies, who can benefit from this shallow water supply without any risk of drowning.

Where should I install the bird bath for best results?

Near flowers: Place it very close to your flowerbeds, planters, or vegetable garden so that bees can easily spot it when foraging.

In the shade or partial shade: Avoid direct full sun to prevent the water from heating up too quickly and evaporating visibly. A shady spot will keep the water cooler for longer.

Sheltered from the wind: Install it in a calm spot protected from drafts to offer insects a serene landing and resting area.

On a flat and stable surface: Place it level (on a low wall, garden table, or tree stump) so that the water distributes evenly across all the cells.

When should I use it?

In spring and summer: Fill and install The Glass Alveo from the first fine days of spring (April-May) and leave it in place all summer until autumn, to cover the entire period of pollinator activity.

During heatwaves: Its use is absolutely essential during summer heatwaves and droughts, when natural water sources dry up and the needs of bee colonies are at their highest.
