Information

Material:
All my creations are designed and manufactured by me using PETG, a durable material – more modern than wood!

Durable: resists sun, rain, and frost without damage.
Hygienic: easy to clean, no mold or parasites.
Design: lightweight, strong, and aesthetic, with a modern style.

I chose to make my creations from PETG because, unlike PLA (which some sellers use), PETG perfectly withstands climatic conditions such as humidity, heat, UV rays, and frost...

Ultra-resistant outdoors: Fears neither frost, rain, nor summer sun (unlike PLA, which deforms in heat).

Healthy & hygienic for wildlife: Smooth and non-porous surface, ultra-easy to wipe clean to prevent disease transmission.

Professional durability: A technical and unbreakable material designed to stay outdoors all year round, season after season.

Zero maintenance: No need for varnish, stain, or chemical treatments toxic to birds.

The electricity for manufacturing is supplied by solar panels during the day and by decarbonized energy for the rest of the time!

Have a question?

What is the purpose of "The Pebble" water trough?

The Pebble is a versatile hanging accessory designed to support garden birds throughout the year:

A water point and bird bath in summer: Its basin provides an essential source of fresh water during hot weather, while also serving as a safe small pool for passerines to clean their plumage.

A feeder in winter: As soon as the cold weather arrives, it easily transforms into a feeder for seeds or fat balls.

A natural shelter: Its enveloping structure protects water or food from bad weather and dead leaves, while offering birds a stable and reassuring perch.

How is it attached?

The Pebble is very easy to install and requires no tools:

Hanging system: It is equipped with 4 Ø6 holes for threading light and strong ropes (not supplied).

Installation: Simply hang it from a tree branch, a balcony hook, a bracket, or a wall mount.

Adjustment: Ensure it is placed on a stable support and out of reach of predators (cats), ideally in partial shade to keep the water cool.

What birds does it attract?

The Pebble is ideal for welcoming small songbirds and garden passerines:

Tits (great, blue, crested, etc.)
Robins
Sparrows
Finches and greenfinches
Nuthatches and other small wildlife visitors.

Its size and through-opening are specially adapted to small birds, providing them with a peaceful space while naturally deterring larger birds (pigeons, crows) from settling there.

Where should I install the bird bath for best results?

To maximize visitors to The Pebble and ensure bird safety:

• A shaded or partially shaded location: Place it out of direct sunlight to prevent the water from heating up too quickly or evaporating during hot summer days.

• Near natural shelter: Install it 2 to 3 meters from a bush or tree. This provides birds with immediate refuge to observe their surroundings before drinking or to hide in case of danger.

• Out of reach of predators: Hang it at a minimum height of 1.50 m from the ground, away from branches easily accessible to cats.

• Visibility & tranquility: Choose a quiet area of the garden or balcony, ideally visible from a window to enjoy the spectacle without disturbing them!

When should I use it?

The Pebble can be used all year round, simply by adapting its contents according to the seasons:

• In spring and summer (drinking trough & bird bath version): Fill it with fresh water during heatwaves and droughts. This is when water is most difficult for birds and their chicks to find.

• In autumn and winter (feeder version): As soon as the cold weather arrives, replace the water with seeds or fat balls to provide vital energy during the cold season.
