I chose to make my creations from PETG because, unlike PLA (which some sellers use), PETG perfectly withstands climatic conditions such as humidity, heat, UV rays, and frost...

The "Pumpkin" feeder is designed to feed and protect sparrows and garden birds all year round, especially during the winter months.

Its main purpose is to provide them with a sheltered feeding station, thanks to its enveloping structure that protects seeds and fat balls from the elements.

In addition to being a valuable aid to local biodiversity, its sculptural pumpkin-shaped design with a heart-shaped opening makes it a truly poetic decorative object for your garden, balcony, or terrace.

The "Pumpkin" bird feeder offers two installation modes depending on your preference and outdoor layout:

• Hanging: thanks to its hook integrated into the stem, it can be easily hung from a tree branch, wall bracket, or balcony railing using string, a chain, or a carabiner.

• Freestanding: its flat base ensures excellent stability for placement directly on a garden table, windowsill, low wall, or tree stump.

Thanks to its adapted openings and comfortable perch, it is ideal for small garden passerines:

• Tits (blue, great, crested, and marsh tit)
• Robins
• Sparrows (tree and house sparrow)
• European greenfinches and goldfinches
• Nuthatches and treecreepers

Its sheltered design prevents larger, more opportunistic birds (pigeons, magpies, crows) from easily pilfering the seeds, thus giving priority to smaller species.

Place it high up (1.5/2m) in a quiet, visible, and bird-accessible location, near an observation point (window, terrace), while avoiding frequently trafficked areas.

Ideally in autumn/winter and early spring, when birds need a food source that they cannot find in nature.
You can also use it all year round depending on your environment.
