Discover "The Teardrop," an original birdhouse with a unique, organic, water-drop shape. It stands out with a superb contrast in textures: a striated, silky, and textured body paired with an ultra-realistic bark and natural wood-look front panel. A true art object for your outdoor space, designed as a cozy cocoon to help wild birds nest safely.

Each piece is entirely handcrafted with passion and love in my small workshop in Brittany.

Exclusive Innovation — Interchangeable Entry Holes (3 included):

No need to choose the diameter when ordering! The birdhouse comes with 3 interchangeable screw-on/screw-off inserts (quarter-turn) to adapt the opening to the birds in your garden:

• 28 mm diameter: Ideal for small tits (Blue Tit, Coal Tit, Crested Tit).
• 32 mm diameter: Perfect for the Great Tit, Eurasian Tree Sparrow, or Eurasian Nuthatch.
• 34 mm diameter: Adapted for larger passerines (House Sparrow, Pied Flycatcher, Common Redstart).

Healthy Design:
A drainage system is built into the base of the cavity to remove residual moisture and ensure a permanently dry and healthy habitat for the chicks.

Simplified Installation & Maintenance:
Modular mounting: Easily installs against a tree using an adjustable 2m strap with a double-D buckle (included with the strap kit), ensuring a stable hold without damaging the bark. It can also be mounted on a wall or fence using the rear slot designed for two 6mm screws.
Quick cleaning: The front panel clips on and off without tools to facilitate annual cleaning after the nesting period.

All my creations are designed and manufactured by me using PETG, a durable material – more modern than wood!

I chose to make my creations from PETG because, unlike PLA (which some sellers use), PETG perfectly withstands climatic conditions such as humidity, heat, UV rays, and frost...

It fulfills three essential functions:

• Nesting & Protection: It offers a space protected from predators and harsh weather to raise chicks in the spring and shelter during the winter.

• Custom multi-species accommodation: Thanks to its 3 interchangeable entry plates provided (Ø28, 32, and 34 mm), it adapts to a wide variety of birds (Blue Tit, Great Tit, Sparrow, Nuthatch...).

• LPO-compliant comfort: Its interior volume of 13 x 13 cm complies with LPO recommendations to ensure the space and ventilation necessary for broods.

Two installation options are available to you:

Against a trunk: Secure it firmly around a tree using a fastening strap and two double-D buckles (included with the strap kit), offering perfect stability and an installation that is 100% bark-friendly.

Against a wall or post: Install it easily using the designated spot on the back for two 6 mm screws.

Thanks to its 3 interchangeable entrance plates provided (quarter-turn attachment), the nesting box is suitable for the majority of small garden songbirds:

• Ø 28 mm plate: Ideal for small tits (Blue Tit, Coal Tit, Crested Tit), as well as the Eurasian Tree Sparrow or the European Pied Flycatcher.

• Ø 32 mm plate: Perfect for the Great Tit, the Eurasian Nuthatch, or the Eurasian Tree Sparrow.

• Ø 34 mm plate: Suitable for slightly larger birds such as the House Sparrow, the Common Redstart, or the Black Redstart.

Mount it between 2 and 5 meters high, facing East or South-East (protected from wind and heavy rain).

Choose a quiet spot, clear the area in front of the entrance, and tilt it slightly downwards when installing to prevent rain from entering.

Finally, place it at a good distance from your feeders to ensure the nestlings' peace and quiet.

Ideally in autumn or early winter. This allows birds to locate the nesting box in advance and take shelter from the cold during the harsh season.

At the latest, install it in February before the start of the spring nesting season.
